FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE : ROCKY MOUNTAIN SAFE STREETS TASK FORCE (RMSSTF) AND DENVER POLICE DEPARTMENT RESPOND TO ATTEMPTED BANK ROBBERY The Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who robbed the DENVER COMMUNITY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION located at 1075 Acoma Street, Denver, Colorado, today, shortly after 2:00 p.m. The robber entered the bank and presented a bank robbery demand to a teller. The robber then left the bank in an unknown direction and by unknown means with an undisclosed amount of money. Investigators believe he may be responsible for at least one additional robbery in the area. No weapon was seen at the time of the robbery and no injuries were reported. The robbery suspect was described as a white male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, thin build, approximately 5’08” to 5’10” and balding.
