  This is an update regarding a bank robbery suspect who has robbed two banks in two days. On Thursday, September 18, 2008, a man robbed the Bank of the West at 3460 West 38th Avenue, Denver, Colorado. The robber entered the bank at approximately 4:50 p.m. and presented a bank robbery demand note to a teller. The robber fled the bank on foot with the stolen money.

Today, this same robber entered the TCF Bank located at 2084 South Broadway, Denver, Colorado. He passed a demand note to a teller and then fled on foot with the stolen money

The robber was generally described in both robberies as:

White or Hispanic male
5ʼ06” to 5ʼ10”
140 to 150 pounds or
Late teens to early 20ʼs
Short dark hair
Thursday he wore: Black t-shirt with “Puma” printed on the chest; blue baggie jeans;
black shoes; white ball cap.

Friday he wore: Gray hoodie; dark pants; red ball cap

The Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force is seeking the public's assistance in identifying this robbery suspect. Surveillance photographs from Thursdays and Fridays robberies are attached.
