In partnership with Federal, State and Local officials we are asking the public for any information they have regarding these robberies and the identity of this suspect. If you have information regarding the identity of this person, knowledge of his location or activities, or information about this crime and would like to remain anonymous call SAFE2Tell @ 1-877-542-SAFE(7233). There was a press release sent out last week regarding this bank robbery suspect who robbed two banks in two days. The suspect may be a student in his teens or early twenties. Please look at the attached surveillance photographs and see if the suspect looks familiar.

Details:

On Thursday, September 18, 2008, a man robbed the Bank of the West at 3460 West 38th Avenue, Denver, Colorado. The robber entered the bank at approximately 4:50 p.m. and presented a bank robbery demand note to a teller. The robber fled the bank on foot with the stolen money.

On Friday, September 19 th, this same robber entered the TCF Bank located at 2084 South Broadway, Denver, Colorado. He passed a threatening demand note to a teller and then fled on foot with the stolen money.

The robber was generally described in both robberies as:

White or Hispanic male
5'06” to 5'10”
140 to 150 pounds or
Late teens to early 20's
Short dark hair

Thursday he wore: Black t-shirt with “Puma” printed on the chest; blue baggie jeans; black shoes; white ball cap.

Friday he wore: Gray hoodie; dark pants; red ball cap.

The Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force is seeking the public's assistance in identifying this robbery suspect. Surveillance photographs from Thursdays and Fridays robberies are attached. Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe
