The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force and Denver Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a serial bank robbery subject dubbed Bank Robber BOB. The subject is suspected of robbing at least six banks in the Denver Metro area since August 14, 2008. The subject enters the victim bank and approaches a teller and passes a bank robbery demand note. The subject flees the bank with the stolen money. No get-away vehicle has been observed. Earlier today, Bank Robber BOB entered the Provenant Federal Credit Union located at 4001 West 16th Avenue, Denver, Colorado. He attempted to rob the bank by passing a demand note, but was confronted by a bank employee. Subsequently there was a physical fight between BOB and two employees. BOB lost his wig, cowboy hat and may have a head injury as a result. BOB left a trial of blood as he fled from the scene wearing cowboy boots, dark slacks, a blue shirt and tie. There was no monetary loss. BOB may have entered a white 1970's model pick-up truck in poor condition with an old style Colorado license plate, white letters over green background. In addition to today, BOB is suspected of robbing the following banks: --August 26, 2008 --August 25, 2008 --August 23, 2008 --August 18, 2008 --August 14, 2008 The robber is generally described as: White Male He may be wearing a dark colored wig, sunglasses, baseball cap.
