Federal Bureau of Investigation FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: (surveillance photos below) The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men suspected of robbing three banks during the month of August 2008. On August 7th, only one robber was observed, Suspect #1 (see description below). In each robbery on August 7th, 14th, and 29th, a demand note was passed to the victim teller and the suspect(s) fled the bank with the stolen money. Only in the most recent robbery, on August 29th, one of the suspects may have entered an older model SUV type vehicle, driven by a third unknown suspect. The two men are suspected of robbing the following banks: --August 14, 2008 at approximately 3:30 p.m. --August 12, 2008 at approximately 4:30 p.m. The robbers are generally described as follows: Suspect #1—approached the victim teller on August 14 and August 29, wearing a blue or dark colored shirt in the surveillance photos. White Male or Hispanic Suspect #2—approached victim teller on August 7, and stood near door on August 14 and August 29, wearing the light colored shirt in the surveillance photos.
