The FBI
Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force with the assistance of Commerce City
Police Department arrested KENNETH DALE LANGE, DATE OF BIRTH 09/13/1957, at
approximately 6:30 pm on November 13, 2007 in Commerce City. LANGE was arrested
for his alleged involvement in the robbery of a series of banks throughout
the Denver Metro area in which he was dubbed the "Cut and Paste Bandit".
Lange was charged federally by Criminal Complaint and a warrant for his arrest
issued on November 13, 2007.
Lange is believed to have been involved in a series of at least 5 robberies
through out the Denver Metro area taken place at various banks to include
the following:
Key Bank located at 6565 E. 73rd Avenue, Commerce City, Colorado on 8/27/2007
Bank of the West located at 12081 N. Colorado Boulevard, Thornton, Colorado
on 9/01/2007
Vectra Bank located at 5050 S. Broadway, Englewood, Colorado on 9/7/2007
TCF Bank located at 4100 W. 144th Avenue, Broomfield, Colorado on 9/16/2007
World Savings Bank located at 2807 S. Colorado Boulevard, Denver, Colorado
on 10/01/2007
This investigation has been the joint efforts of numerous law enforcement
agencies to include the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, Commerce
City, Thornton, Denver, and Broomfield Police Departments.
