The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force is asking for the media’s assistance in getting information to the public requesting their assistance in identifying five individuals wanted in connection with two bank robberies.

The first bank robbery occurred on October 3, 2007, at approximately 4:55 pm at the Vectra Bank located at 3600 Quebec Street, Denver, Colorado.  The subjects are described as black males, approximately 20-26 years of age.  They were wearing hoodies and bandannas .  One of the suspects was wearing a rubber Halloween-type mask.  Upon entering the bank, one short suspect ordered customers to the floor in the lobby and held them at gunpoint while the other three suspects proceeded to rob the bank.  The three taller suspects  jumped over the counter, retrieved money from the teller drawers, then jumped back over the counter.  All four suspects ran from the bank and fled the area in a late model maroon Ford Explorer driven by a fifth suspect.

The second robbery occurred on October 26, 2007, at approximately 12:15 pm at the Washington Mutual Bank located at 6160 E. Colfax Avenue, Denver, Colorado.  Four black males, 20-26 years of age, wearing hoodies and bandannas entered the bank.  One of the suspects held the customers at gunpoint in the lobby while the other suspects forced bank employees into the backroom.  The suspects retrieved the money from the bank and fled.  The getaway method in this robbery was unknown.

The attached photographs have been obtained from bank surveillance cameras. 

Please emphasize that the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force is offering a reward as well as both Vectra Bank and Washington Mutual are offering rewards of $5,000 each for any information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the above described individuals.  Any one with information can call the Denver FBI office at (303) 629-7171.
