FOR POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
DENVER – Robert Everett Gimer, age 53, of Adams County, Colorado,
was sentenced late last week by U.S. District Court Judge Robert E.
Blackburn to serve 108 months (9 years) in federal prison for possession
of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Troy Eid and Federal Bureau of

June 2005, Gimer downloaded between 150 and 300 images of child pornography on
his computer.
“Prosecutions,
such as the Gimer case, sends a message to those who prey on our children that
they cannot hide behind their computer,” said FBI Special Agent in Charge
James Davis.
This case
was investigated by the FBI.
This case
was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Patricia Davies and Suneeta Hazra.
